Roundtable on the topic “’ZAVNOBIH’ and the Policy of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina with regard to the Results of the Dayton Agreement”

As a part of the final activities of the event “The Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Igman 2020”, Alija Izetbegović Foundation organized on December 15, 2020 a roundtable on the topic “The National Antifascist Council of the People’s Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBIH) and the Policy of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina with regard to the Results of the Dayton Agreement”. The Roundtable was organized in accordance with the COVID-19 preventive measures.

This scientific event was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement which halted the military aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995.

The roundtable had two sessions: 1) The Analogy of ZAVNOBIH Values and the Alija Izetbegović’s Politics, and 2) The Results of the Dayton Agreement and the Problems of its Implementation and Upgrade.

The session moderators were Tarik Dautović and Anes Džunuzović.

The papers from the roundtable on the aforementioned topics will be published in January 2021.

The delegations from the Alija Izetbegović Foundation and Organizational Board of the Event “The Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Igman 2020” used this opportunity to lay flowers at the Memorial “Kovači” and the grave of the President Alija Izetbegović.
