Emine Erdoğan Visits Alija Izetbegović Foundation 

Emine Erdoğan, the wife of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, visited Alija Izetbegović Foundation in Sarajevo on 27th August 2021. 

Emine Erdoğan stayed in Sarajevo during the one-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Mrs. Erdoğan was welcomed at the Foundation by late Alija Izetbegović’s daughters, Mrs. Lejla Akšamija and Mrs. Sabina Berberović, who used this opportunity to present the mission and goals of the Foundation, as well as its past and future projects to Mrs. Erdoğan. 

Accompanied by Mrs. Vildana Džaferović, the wife of the member of the B&H Presidency Mr. Šefik Džaferović, Mrs. Emine Erdoğan also visited the memorial room of late Alija Izetbegović.
