Bilal Erdoğan Visited the Alija Izetbegović Foundation

Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of the İlim Yayma Foundation from the Republic of Türkiye, visited the Alija Izetbegović Foundation in Sarajevo on June 24 2025.

Accompanying Mr. Erdoğan was H.E. Emin Akseki, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the distinguished guests were welcomed at the Foundation by Board members – Sabina Berberović, Amor Mašović, and Adis Alagić.

It was a special pleasure to host Mr. Bilal Erdoğan and to discuss the work of the two foundations, the projects implemented and those planned, with a focus on youth and activities marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alija Izetbegović.

We hope that this meeting will mark the beginning of successful and fruitful cooperation, especially in the field of spreading knowledge, progress, and strengthening our societies, as well as nurturing the memory of Alija Izetbegović and the principles he stood for.
