Adis Alagić is a member of the Initiating and Executive Board of the Alija Izetbegović Foundation.

Adis Alagić was born in 1983 in Bosanska Krupa. He is married and a father of three children.

He graduated in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Istanbul.

He is a manager with international and domestic experience in the private, governmental, and non-governmental sectors.

In the private sector, he gained significant experience in management, investments, and international business.

Within the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he served as Advisor to the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2018–2020) and as the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia (2020–2024).

He was also engaged in the IT sector within the first institute for artificial intelligence in Sarajevo.

A significant part of his professional career has been dedicated to the international promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s economic, tourism, cultural, and scientific potential, representing the country on numerous platforms.

He is the co-founder and first president of the Association of Turkish Alumni in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He speaks English and Turkish.
